Programme Description

Dr Matt Kearney describes the National Diabetes Prevention Programme, a new resource for GPs and nurses in primary care. The programme will be available to anyone over the age of 18 years who is identified as having non-diabetic hyperglycaemia, and will deliver a long-term programme of intervention aiming to help weight loss and achievement of dietary and physical activity recommendations.
