Dr Raj Thakkar details the risks associated with stable angina, investigations for diagnosis and some methods of management. This activity aims to provide a CPD update for GPs and other healthcare professionals on diagnosis and management.

  • Identify risks factors that lead to the formation of atheromatous plaques, and angina
  • Explain the risks of angina to patients
  • Know when it is appropriate to arrange exercise tolerance/stress testing to diagnose angina
  • Approach the clinical management of a patient with angina in a systematic and informed manner
