Programme Description

Dr Sally Hope discusses prevention and treatment of osteoporosis. Key learning points include recommended calcium and vitamin D intake, assessing osteoporosis risk in patients on cancer treatment, and use of preventive medication.   • Prescribe bisphosphonate therapy or denosumab for secondary prevention
