Program Description

Functional gastrointestinal disorders such as reflux, colic and constipation are common and often the consequence of an infant's maturing gut. This educational resource has been developed by the Gut Feelings multidisciplinary expert panel to provide an overview of the most common infant functional gastrointestinal disorders.

Educational objectives

The educational resource aims to:
  • Provide an overview of the most common infant functional gastrointestinal disorders, reflux, colic and constipation, their impact on society and their management guidelines
  • Help learners put the guideline recommendations into practice through the use of motivational interviewing principles
