Programme Description

This article by Professor Carolyn Chew-Graham dispels some of the myths of managing depression, provides an update on treatment options and introduces a stepped-care model from NICE. Key learning points for healthcare professionals include using the patient health questionnaire (PHQ-9), active monitoring, and switching antidepressants.
