Programme Description

Dr Suneeta Kochhar reviews the latest NICE guideline on risk assessment and reduction of cardiovascular disease. Key educational messages for GPs and other healthcare professionals include use of QRISK2 for assessment of CVD risk, appropriate prescribing of statins for primary and secondary prevention of CVD, and advice on when to refer.
