Programme Description

Dr Jessica Garner describes the latest NICE guidance on sepsis. The module outlines what’s new in the guidance, what to do differently in practice, how to assess the risk of sepsis in patients of different ages and which patients should be considered at increased risk of sepsis.

  • Identify which patients are at increased risk of sepsis
  • Know which clinical examinations should be used to assess for sepsis
  • Describe the early signs of sepsis in people of different ages
  • List the key warning signs of sepsis
