Programme Description

Dr Tillmann Jacobi describes the latest NICE guidance on mental health problems in people with learning disabilities. The module outlines what’s new in the guidance, what to do differently in practice, the need for good organisation of a learning disabilities register to plan workload and the need for clear documentation to help assess changes of behaviour and mood in patients with learning disabilities.

Guidance: NICE guidance NG54. Mental health problems in people with learning disabilities: prevention, assessment and management. September 2016.
