Programme Description

Dr Nigel Stollery describes how to implement the latest NICE guidance on assessment and management of melanoma. The module outlines what's new in the guidance, whether to consider dermoscopy at your practice, assessment and treatment options.

  • Understand the importance of having the ability to differentiate between suspicious and benign lesions
  • Know what to do differently in practice in the light of the NICE guidance

  • Have awareness of upcoming treatments for melanoma
  • Understand the importance of vitamin D measurement and supplementation
  • Understand what surveillance is required for patients who have had melanoma
