Effective consulting video learning plan

2.50 credits

Presenter: Dr Peter Tate, former convenor of the Royal College of GPs panel of examiners, and author of the Doctor’s Communication Handbook.

Understanding the patient, understanding the problem, and being effective in consultation are covered by GP consulting skills trainer Dr Peter Tate in this learning plan worth 2.5 CPD credits.

The plan aims to provide an educational update for GPs, nurses and other healthcare professionals on consultation skills in primary care.

Each of the five modules in the plan is worth 0.5 credits and consists of a video of a simulated consultation, with commentary by Dr Tate highlighting key learning points to consider.
