Programme Description

Dr Andre Khoo, Professor Viktor Gladko and Dr Ekaterina Burova review the common causes and different types of alopecia, with recommended investigations and management strategy. Key learning points for healthcare professionals include differentiating alopecia areata, androgenetic alopecia, telogen effluvium and cicatricial alopecia, and general measures such as counselling for all patients.
